Why Maintenance Matters

Launching the Website Is Not the End of Managing It.

Business information changes. Services evolve. Images, promotions and staff details need updates. Platforms and technical requirements also change over time. Without a clear support relationship, small website issues can remain unresolved until they become customer-facing problems.

Maintenance gives the owner a defined path for website help while keeping expectations tied to the actual service arrangement.

What Maintenance Can Include

Ongoing Care Built Around the Website and Agreement.

Exact inclusions depend on the platform, current condition and approved maintenance scope.

H

Website Hosting

Managed hosting for websites operating within Astro’s supported environment.

S

Technical Essentials

SSL and related core infrastructure where supported by the website arrangement.

U

Routine Updates

Normal content and website changes according to the agreed level of service.

A

Website Assistance

A professional contact for questions and supported website needs.

Common Update Requests

  • Business hours and contact information
  • Service descriptions and calls-to-action
  • Team, project or gallery content
  • Promotional messaging and announcements
  • Images and approved page copy

Updates & Content Changes

Keep Customer-Facing Information Current.

Routine changes help the website continue to represent the business accurately. The number, size and frequency of updates must match the maintenance arrangement; “unlimited edits” are not assumed.

New pages, major redesign work, advanced integrations and substantial content projects may require separate scoping.

Performance & Technical Monitoring

Pay Attention to the Systems That Support the Experience.

01

Function Checks

Review supported forms, links or important customer paths when a problem is reported or included in scope.

02

Content & Asset Care

Keep additions intentional so oversized media and unnecessary changes do not erode the experience.

03

Platform Awareness

Manage supported platform needs and identify issues that require a third-party provider or separate project.

Security & Reliability Responsibilities

Clear Responsibilities Are Part of Reliable Support.

Astro can manage supported technical essentials within the agreed environment. The owner remains responsible for accurate business content, lawful materials, account access and third-party services outside Astro’s control.

No absolute uptime, backup, malware-removal or emergency-response guarantee is implied. Those responsibilities must be documented if they are part of a specific agreement.

A support plan should clarify:

  • Which platform and hosting are covered
  • What updates are included
  • How requests are submitted
  • Which third-party tools are outside scope
  • What requires separate authorization

Ongoing Support

Work With Someone Who Already Understands the Website.

For Astro-built websites, ongoing service maintains continuity between the original design, platform and future updates. That context helps prevent disconnected changes that weaken the layout or customer path.

Support expectations—including communication channels, turnaround and project boundaries—must follow the selected plan or separate agreement. Exact response times are not promised on this page.

Relationship to Astro Website Plans

Ongoing Service Is Already Part of the Approved Website Model.

The current Essential Website is listed at $999 plus $79/month, and the Growth Website at $1,499 plus $99/month. Those monthly fees support hosting, technical essentials, website support and routine updates according to the website arrangement.

Standalone maintenance is different.

A website Astro did not build may use a platform, hosting setup or integrations that require review before support can be offered. No standalone maintenance price is currently published.

Website Maintenance FAQ

Set Clear Expectations Before Support Begins.

Do your website plans include ongoing support?
Yes. The approved Astro website packages include an ongoing monthly website service. The exact support and update arrangement should be confirmed with the selected package and project agreement.
Do you offer unlimited website edits?
No unlimited-edit promise is made. Routine changes may be included according to the service arrangement; larger updates, new pages or redesign work may require separate scope.
Can you maintain a website you did not build?
Possibly. Astro must first review the platform, hosting, access, current condition and third-party dependencies before confirming whether it can be supported.
Do you guarantee uptime, backups or emergency response?
No such guarantee is published here. Any monitoring, backup, restoration or response obligation must be specifically documented in the applicable service agreement.
How much does standalone maintenance cost?
Standalone maintenance pricing is not currently established on the approved Pricing page. Astro must review the website and required support before confirming availability and scope.
